Normal Trace
Report:
Sinus rhythm
Normal axis
Semivertical heart position
Normal trace
Comment:
This was a disappointingly normal trace. Note the normal ‘septal’ q wave in lead V6 - the sign of initial left-to-right depolarisation across the septum.
I advised the Registrar never to kick a brick to see if there is a cockroach under it. I also told him his ECG can only get worse from now on. I hope he remembers all that.
His trace was kept for teaching purposes.
