Comment:
The designation of this as torsade de pointes is, perhaps, twisting the point a little. The negative complexes, however, do become positive somewhere in the middle of the last strip, almost imperceptibly.
It is, sometimes, psychologically more acceptable to wait for the (electrical) cardiac arrest before turning off the respirator. Only sometimes: if there is no output, both the monitor and the ventilator should be turned off.
