Comment:
The pattern is diagnostic: retrograde P waves and flat L1. This is much less common than arms or V1 – V2 or V3 reversal. In this case the computer went for the arms reversal with “atrial rhythm”.
I used to report these as “normal trace” and wait for staff to come and enquire how it could be normal. Some pleasure in small things. The repeat trace (which need not have been taken) is shown below (Fig 51a).
